Indians Sweep Canadians to take PBL title
Congratulations to the 2009 PBL Champion Innisfail Indians.
Game 1 - August 13th - The Indians defeated the Beiseker Canadians by a score of 7 - 3. Matt MacLeod picked up the complete game victory over Cam Culp. The Indians scored 6 runs in the 6th inning to put the game out of reach.
Game 2 - August 14th - The Innisfail Indians defeated the Beiseker Canadians by a score of 11 - 6. Ryan Carr picked up the complete game victory. Once again the Indians scored 6 runs in the 6th inning to pull ahead 11 - 6. They then shutdown the Canadians in the final 2 innings for the victory and league title.
